In Camp

We try to select our camps for comfort, ease of access to the local attractions and cleanliness. Sometimes we are in small villages where the choices of camps are limited but camping in Europe is a popular way to holiday so the facilities are kept to a good standard.

All camps have good shower facilities for you to enjoy after your ride and some even have a swimming pool. Once you are ready to relax, come and join the crew as they prepare dinner and enjoy a beer or wine. Alcohol is not supplied by Biking les Alps but we are happy to take orders when we are going to the supermarket.

All meals are prepared in camp by your crew using fresh local ingredients as much as possible. During your tour we will have some “free nights” where you can go to a local restaurant and enjoy some of the local cuisine.

Breakfast each morning consists of a continental style which includes cereal, fresh fruits, yoghurt, bread, jams and often fresh items from the local bakery. Not to forget the brew of morning coffee, which is available first thing while the crew prepares the rest of your breakfast.

Leaving time each morning is your choice. We find that often the slower riders sneak out a little earlier while the faster riders tend to hold back a little but it is up to you. Once the support vehicle is loaded it joins the riders on the road where we try to touch base with each rider on a regular basis.
